About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Regional Field Service - REMOTE. In this role, you will oversee a team dedicated to providing expert service and support within the field service ecosystem. Your leadership will directly influence customer satisfaction and operational efficiency as you manage critical initiatives while fostering a culture of high performance. This position requires hands-on involvement, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of customer needs in the commercial vehicle industry. You will be a vital part of enhancing service delivery and driving revenue growth through strategic planning and innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering field or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum 5 years in the Commercial Vehicle Industry, preferably transit buses
  • Previous Supervisor experience is preferred
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to use Telematics and software tools for vehicle diagnostics
  • Comprehensive computer skills with knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Certified in High Voltage Safety procedures and shop safety practices
  • Strong leadership abilities in team development and coaching

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Supervisor experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations throughout assigned territory to support Post Delivery Inspections (PDI’s)
  • Uphold customer satisfaction and investigate complex issues as needed
  • Drive the adoption of Salesforce as a platform to manage all aspects of Customer Care
  • Develop and implement key aftersales strategies to support growth and revenue initiatives
  • Create innovative processes to improve PDI cycle time and customer experience
  • Manage and motivate a high performing Field Service team of 5-8 individuals
  • Establish key performance indicators and develop plans to meet targets
  • Manage customer projects/initiatives from inception to completion
  • Prepare regular reports for management on various service metrics
  • Liaise with repair facilities for In Transit Breakdowns
  • Manage Fleet Defect Reports ensuring proper response times
  • Lead investigations for field failures resulting in property damage
