Ansell is looking for a Manager, Regional Category Management – Scientific Business Unit (North America) to join our team! In this position, you will play a critical role in activating global category strategies and owning the regional view of the Scientific Business Unit product portfolio across North America. Reporting to the Associate Director, Americas – Scientific Business Unit, this role serves as the regional connector between Global Category Management and local commercial teams, ensuring effective portfolio execution, market relevance, and profitable growth. Leveraging deep regional market knowledge, you will provide critical input into global category strategy while ensuring strong local activation across life sciences and industrial scientific verticals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA highly desirable)
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development, or a minimum of 5 years in a Product or Category Management role
  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams within a matrixed, global organization
  • Demonstrated experience working in a multinational or global environment
  • Strong business acumen with financial and budget management capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional regional languages a plus

  • Experience in Medical Devices, PPE, or Life Sciences / Scientific markets preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the North America Scientific product portfolio serving LSCI verticals including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, semiconductors, nutraceuticals, and laboratory markets
  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management, including pricing, introductions, changes, rationalization, and promotional initiatives to improve sales, margins, and operational efficiency
  • Provide regional market expertise, insights, and analysis to inform and shape global category and portfolio strategies
  • Monitor sales performance, pricing, competitive dynamics, and market trends, partnering with Regional Marketing to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets
  • Coordinate and deploy Global Category Management initiatives efficiently across the North America region
  • Lead and support successful new product launches, including localization of launch materials and execution of product setup activities across systems
  • Coordinate product training programs, including presentations, live sessions, and virtual training in collaboration with global and regional marketing teams
  • Serve as the primary regional subject matter expert and point of contact for product-related matters, supporting regional teams, distributors, and customers
  • Partner with regional sales teams and distributor organizations through training and joint customer engagements
  • Actively participate in regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and forecasting processes
  • Maintain product data, samples, and collateral across relevant systems including SAP, Oracle, MDM/PDH, and sample administration platforms
