Serves as the primary outreach resource to develop and strengthen relationships in a designated territory for the purpose of developing and implementing strategic plans to advance business in established service areas. Responsible for gathering and reporting business intelligence to proactively address service issues, competitor strategies and market dynamics to contribute to business plans and marketing strategies that are inclusive of the organization's mission, vision, and strategic plan. Discovers opportunities to create, manage & promote educational events and programs to show case service line advancements and faculty. Identifies, communicates and documents barriers to physician and facility access & service issues and facilitates solutions throughout all levels of the enterprise. Works with other departments to acquire the related resources necessary to create results, e.g., marketing materials, managed care, IT, CME office, department administration, etc. Utilizes relationship management database to document activity accurately, timely and transparently. Responsible for departmental functions related to budgeting, strategic planning and business development systems/processes. Represents the organization at professional and association conferences and meetings to raise the reputation of the organization.
