Manage the operation and effectiveness in Radiology imaging services, Diagnostic X-Ray, CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, clinical standards, clinical competencies, and protocols. Responsibility in PET depending on location.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Radiologic Technologists.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Radiology experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience.
  • ARRT, RDMS, or CNMT register required.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles of radiology imaging.
  • Considerable knowledge of radiology procedures and patient preps, state and federal regulations and general safety requirements.
  • Skill in data analysis, organization, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures, computer/information systems, equipment used in performing assigned duties, application of safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Possesses abilities in team building, decision making, and conflict management.
  • Adapts procedures, protocols, techniques, and equipment to meet special needs.
  • Ability to network and recruit to gain new talent for the Centers.
  • Ability to manage departmental operations and provide support.
  • Ability to work effectively with radiologists, referring providers, administration, and other departmental managers.
