The Manager, R&D Facilities and Archives, is primarily responsible for processes and teams in one or more of the following areas: Facilities Planning (e.g., space planning, facility infrastructure condition assessment, etc.) -Facilities Security (People/Facilities) -Planning maintenance programs for building and grounds of an organization including the upkeep of equipment and supplies -Coordinating contractors for projects where required -Overseeing the planning of space allocation and changes. This role is located on-site in Fort Worth, Texas and a typical day would include: Assist in the planning and execution of R&D capital improvement projects, including space modifications and equipment upgrades. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Supervise and develop a team of associates responsible for R&D archives and facility support services. Allocate resources effectively to meet service level agreements and operational targets. Act as the point of contact for internal customers of facilities / infrastructure services and Archives system subject matter expert. Coordinate day to day operations / moves for associates within R&D. Oversee lifecycle management of R&D records, classification, retention, and destruction of records. Identify and implement process improvements that reduce administrative burden and enhance service delivery. i.e. global adoption of Archival system across R&D sites. Develop, implement and maintain process maps, SOPs, work instruction, and training materials for archival operations to offer a unified approach across R&D sites. Maintain audit-ready archives and support internal and external inspections by providing timely access to required documentation. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions related to archival processes. Manage both physical and electronic archives, ensuring secure storage, controlled access, and disaster recovery protocols. Collaborate with IT and Quality teams to support digital archiving systems and ensure data integrity. Act as a liaison between R&D teams and the archives function to ensure timely and accurate retrieval of records. Provide guidance and training to internal teams on proper documentation for archiving practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+1 yr)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 3 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
