About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Provides leadership for Quality Systems. Responsible for advanced quality planning, supplier quality assurance, testing laboratories, customer complaints, product submission, and the implementation of lean techniques. Supervises personnel who have continuous interactions with customers, product design. Takes a leadership role in ISO 9001/2000 and ISO 17025 compliance. Directs, implements, and maintains operational-level strategies and objectives and monitors performance against plan. Manages, monitors and controls material, labor, and overhead costs in respective area. Develops, reviews, and maintains budgets and expenses for department. Maintains appropriate level of staff support necessary to meet business goals and objectives. As a member of the Operations Team, actively leads and influences efforts to improve product quality and process capability. Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, or quality control.
  • Ten years diverse professional and managerial experience including financial/budget responsibility, management leadership, and strategic decision making/leadership in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated employee relationship and management skills to develop, lead, support, and motivate a cohesive, world-class quality assurance team.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills to work with internal and external contacts at all levels within the organization.
  • Able to represent the company in a professional manner with customers and suppliers.
