This position will be based at our corporate office in Atlantic Station, but will require some travel to our clinic locations The Quality/Safety Operations Manager – Physician Practice is responsible for driving and continuously improving quality and safety across all employed practice locations. The Quality/Safety Operations Manager promotes a culture of continuous improvement through use of Lean methodology, coaching, tools, data analysis, reliability, sustainability and spread. Additionally, the Quality/Safety Operations Manager promotes and educates staff on the appropriate use of error prevention tools, safety huddles, safety rounds and just culture. The Quality/Safety Operations Manager ensures an environment of openness and a culture of speaking up. In addition to supporting a safety culture, the manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with laboratory and radiology safe practices and maintaining the clinical competency program for Piedmont employed physician office practice clinical staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
  • 5 years of hospital experience in safety, quality or performance/operations improvement required
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred
  • Certified Professional in Project Management, Health Care Quality or other related certifications preferred
