Your Role: Directs designated quality improvement activities and functions. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. Oversees departmental functions of the Improvement Advisor(s) II, Utilization Review Clinician(s), and RN/Clinical Education Coord(s). Directs Behavioral Health Center (BHC) safety processes and administrative functions and processes (in consultation with supervisor) in accordance with BHC policies and procedures. Maintains compliance with required training in accordance with established time frames. Performs other duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field
  • Three (3) years of relevant, job-related work experience within a mental health setting

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field.
  • Three (3) years of relevant professional performance improvement/quality assurance administrative experience and/or experience in an inpatient mental health setting.
  • Professional, clinical experience in a psychiatric community mental health or hospital setting.
