About The Position

Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed | Designs and installs sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates | Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions | Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs Impact of the Role General Profile Supervises the daily activities of support staff or production team members. Does not typically perform the work supervised Must have any type of one direct report or more Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors Problem solving is guided by policies and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from manager Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises inspections of raw materials, equipment, processes and finished products.
  • Implements quality standards and ensures protocols are followed for quality assurance testing models.
  • Assists in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or equipment.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
