The Purchasing Manager at Odfjell is responsible for the quality and cost-effective procurement of products and services required by Odfjell Terminals (Houston) Inc. (OTH), Odfjell USA (Houston) Inc. (SCB), and Odfjell Terminals (Charleston), LLC (OTC). This role involves establishing Master Service Agreements (MSA) and construction contracts with suppliers and contractors, reviewing purchase orders for compliance, and evaluating suppliers based on time and budget criteria. The Purchasing Manager will also maintain contractor/supplier insurance certificate programs, resolve disputes, expedite purchase orders, and ensure compliance with ISO procurement procedures. Additionally, the role requires effective communication with various departments and assisting in negotiating utility contracts. The Purchasing Manager will also manage daily operations of the OTH warehouse and conduct training for employees and contractors.
