The Manager of Property Management is responsible for professional and administrative work developing and implementing systems to maintain accountability for the management and leasing of Airports' real property. This includes developing and preparing contracts, leases, concessions, permits, and Board Agenda Items for the County's four airports. The role involves managing databases to ensure agreement compliance, conducting field inspections, and notifying tenants, permittees, concessionaires, and contractors of any contract or permit violations. The manager will also prepare and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs), establish operational policies and procedures, and supervise professional and technical staff. Additionally, the position assists with the implementation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) programs. Work is performed under the general direction of the Director of Airport Properties and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and results obtained.

  • Assist with DBE/ACDBE program implementation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Real Estate.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in commercial real estate leasing transactions and property management.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval.
  • Successful completion of DHS Criminal History Records Check and Security Threat Assessment.
  • Experience in preparing and/or monitoring leases, contracts, concession agreements, or permits of airport tenants.
  • Experience in preparing requests for airport proposals/bids/Board Agenda Items.
  • Prior supervisory experience in an airport conducting commercial real estate transactions.
