Our Collaboration Hub in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, Louisiana, serves as an important location for our global support groups, including investor relations, finance, engineering, marketing, communications, and information technology. Employees in New Orleans mostly follow a hybrid schedule where they collaborate virtually and may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings or training. The Hub is located inside a beautiful historic building and provides office space, meeting rooms, kitchen and dining space, phone booths, and technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. New Orleans is a popular tourist destination known for its rich history, architecture, cultural arts, music, and cuisine. Many great hotels, galleries, restaurants, and museums are a short walk from the Hub. What You Will Do Manage the planning and implementation of software solutions tailored to the needs of project teams ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and requirements. Collaborate with project teams (engineering, project controls, procurement, contracts, etc.) and MIS stakeholders to identify solution requirements, establish system architecture, and develop business intelligence (BI) views to facilitate project execution. Responsible for managing the scoping, development, and execution of all software development, data warehousing, data architecture design, data engineering, and BI development required to support project needs. Manage the implementation of quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of deployed solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of software solutions, data management, and BI reporting practices in project delivery. What You Bring To Freeport Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline and eight (8) years of experience in related field with a focus on engineering or EPC projects; OR Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline and six (6) years of experience in related field with a focus on engineering or EPC projects.
