We’re seeking a Manager - Project Services to lead the Banking & Insurance and CARFAX For Police Project Services team that is focused on defining, planning, and implementing a diverse set of projects. You’ll work hand in hand with a team of project managers, a driven set of technologists, and business and technology leaders from across the enterprise. You’ll leverage and balance a passion for agile software development with application of sound project management practices. You’ll thrive in a team environment where you are well supported and can help launch “BEST-IN-MARKET” products to our customers.
This role has an expectation of 4 days in the office per week. This is subject to change based on future business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, or combination of 8+ years of combined experience in project/program management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated ability to improve Project Management function and effectiveness by identifying opportunities and implementing process improvements
• Hands-on experience and comfort with managing multiple complex projects concurrently
• Proven ability to successfully lead project teams of 10+ people across multiple locations
• Proven history of promoting sound and proven project management practices including the delivery of projects using an agile methodology
• Use of project management tools such as Confluence and Jira, and excellent command of MS Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• PMI certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, and Scrum Alliance certifications such as CSPO or CSM are strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-7 Project Services team members, carrying out duties such as performance management, delegation and direction of work, and promotion of a positive and productive work environment
• Identify opportunities to build and enhance cohesion and interaction among the team, including facilitation of regular team and 1:1 meetings
• Lead, and mentor Project Managers in project management best practices, agile development team product ownership, analysis, and project delivery validation (QA/UAT) Support pre-project investigation and analysis combining business and technical context and provide project oversight, technical input and overall assistance to projects as needed
• Review project deliverables to ensure progress on and quality of all artifacts, ensure process/tool usage enables a consistent experience for all stakeholders
• Communicate regularly with Project Services, CARFAX Technology leadership and business on objective areas
• Lead and own project portfolio oversight and strategic alignment for assigned objective areas
• Partner with objective leaders/stakeholders and technical managers to establish and manage roadmaps, resolve challenges and ensure stakeholder satisfaction
