About The Position

Description Position Summary: The project completions manager role is a critical role required on mega projects. The Project Quality Completions Manager will be responsible for the management of the project completions database and Quality Completions team. The responsibilities of this role will include cross functional support of the Advanced Work Packaging process (AWP), piping test packages, quality inspections, preservations, engineering data and any other items related to project completions. Responsibilities Job Functions: Coordination of completions activities with project team Manage the quality completions team which can include supervisors, facilitators, and inspectors. Review and understand contractual requirements related to quality and completions Monitor and keep updated on progress of project completions Coordinate in the final walk down of systems and areas with all project stakeholders Complete the assembly of turnover packages for transmittal to client Prepare Systems and Mechanical Completion Certificates Coordinate, define, and execute completions requirements between project team including but not limited to project controls, engineering, craft, client, quality. Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Industrial Construction experience Self-motivated Good decision-making abilities Able to troubleshoot and come up with solutions on the fly Ability to work with others – team player Good communication skills with co-workers and subordinates Construction and commissioning knowledge Completions database knowledge Completions management experience Qualifications Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school. 6 years industrial construction experience 2 years management experience Computer Competency (Microsoft Office), Completions Database experience Detailed knowledge and understanding of quality and commissioning practices Working knowledge of QA/QC inspection process - ITP’s and related QA/QC documentation requirements Preferred Qualifications: Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc. Previous commissioning or completions manager Bachelor’s degree in a construction or technology related field 10 years industrial construction experience Reports to Position: This position reports directly to the project manager and indirectly to the Corporate Quality Completions Manager. This position manages the entire Quality Completions team. The above description covers the fundamental responsibilities of the Project Quality Completion Manager position.
