About The Position

Manager, Project Manager - Associate Experience Enterprise Compliance and Ethics (C&E), part of the Enterprise Risk Organization, supports our Compliance and Ethics agenda across Capital One. The Compliance and Ethics Command Center (Chief of Staff team) has 3 distinct functions: 1) Associate Experience (AX), 2) Operational Effectiveness and 3) the Project Management Office. The C&E Command Center is seeking a Manager, Project Manager to support the transformational Associate Experience agenda for the organization, while also supporting broader efforts around culture, operational effectiveness and communications. The ideal candidate will bring fresh, bold, creative ideas to connect and engage our associates from Day 1 through their entire lifecycle. They will also manage a body of recurring operational processes. In this role you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and make an incredible impact on the broader C&E organization. You will support the well-managed execution of our associate experience strategy aimed to create an exceptional associate experience, to cultivate a strong community across C&E and to foster an inclusive, inspiring, and fun culture. You will also have the opportunity to lead and support top of house operational efforts such as department communications, town halls, volunteerism and recognition. The right candidate for this role has excellent creativity, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change quickly. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or Event Management

  • High Touch Event coordinator: You know how to support complex events with a sharp eye on details throughout the entire process. You go above and beyond to exceed associate expectations and deliver best-in-class experiences.
  • Highly Organized Juggler: You don’t get overwhelmed or flustered easily. You seek guidance to reprioritize as needed to adjust with changing business needs, and take action with urgency as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation
  • 2+ years of experience negotiating and executing contracts for associate events
  • 2+ years of experience supporting senior leadership
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, associate experience, or associate engagement roles

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and execute the day-to-day operations and processes that underpin the associate experience (AX) agenda, ensuring alignment with the strategy set by senior leadership.
  • Lead the end-to-end operational execution and logistics management for all key associate engagement events and processes (e.g., recognition programs, town halls, volunteerism).
  • Manage and traffic the C&E communications calendar in partnership with Corporate Communications, ensuring consistent timing, tone, and strategic placement of all internal associate experience messaging.
  • Act as the execution partner for the internal engagement team, coordinating the creation and delivery of content and activities such as pop-up events and celebrating associate moments that matter.
  • Coordinate horizontal processes and activities related to AX
  • Be the champion for events, content, and to-do’s by driving engagement on Slack, messaging, and interacting with associates to create inclusion and excitement
  • Manage and update AX-related internal content and resources (e.g., internal websites, documentation, and playbooks) to ensure accuracy, relevance, and utility for C&E associates.
  • Own the logistical preparation for leadership engagements, including the organization of pre-briefs, drafting of presentation materials, and managing post-event follow-up actions
  • Provide regular reporting on program metrics and associate feedback data to the Senior Manager to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
