What You Will Do: The Manager, Project Management works with appropriate strategic sourcing and procurement representatives to develop project business cases and overlap plans in support of transitioning parts to Columbus Forge and new suppliers’ locations in accordance with Transition Standard Work. The Manager, Project Management provides leadership to the internal cross-functional team to ensure the team is aligned to meet project goals with schedule, quality, and cost deliverables. Coordinates technical reviews, process family matrices, and contract reviews to mitigate risks to ensure on-time part delivery. Reviews include Business Cases, Long Term Agreements (LTA), First Article Inspection Review (FAIR), Engineering First Piece Review (EFPR), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) review, and all PW requirements for Qualified Supplier List (QSL) and Qualified Parts List (QPL). Assigns, schedules, reviews, and monitors project work to ensure that part qualification requirements are achieved within expected guidelines, on time and within budget; ensures project reporting structures and frequency of supplier interaction are established and maintained. Identifies, tracks, monitors, and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation. Facilitates amicable solutions with the appropriate supplier(s) and aligns with procurement requirements in doing so. Drives closure for actions, determines and engages cross-functional PW resources as necessary, and escalates when needed in a timely manner. Facilitates and documents opportunities to integrate process improvements with suppliers and resources to fulfill project requirements. Crafts and presents verbal and/or written technical reports and project presentations, both standard and ad hoc; organizes and conducts project team meetings; utilizes project management tools to plan and track transitions to completion. Ensures International Trade Compliance (ITC) requirements and licensing for products being transitioned are satisfied and aligned with all Import and Export requirements as understood through Global Trade. Actively leads projects utilizing Transition Standard Work (TSW) guidelines; actively participates or leads continuous improvement initiatives. Travel at least 10% domestic and international
