About The Position

As a Manager Project Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. PULSE Pricing leads the development and execution of pricing policy strategy for payment network. PULSE pricing policy serves as the driver for network revenue and topline growth at Global Payment Network (GPN). Our company faces a unique opportunity to grow a debit business. This will employ white space thinking, a strong appetite for action and the ability to work collaboratively and creatively. We are looking for go-getters who thrive in both the details and big picture thinking with strategic impact. The person will: Play a crucial role in ensuring the team has accurate and insightful data to drive business strategies. This involves working closely with different groups to make informed decisions that impact the company’s growth and competitiveness Be an excellent storyteller using data to strengthen recommendation Navigate complex problems where there is no single right answer, requiring nuanced judgement Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• At least 7 Years of Project Management experience
• At least 3 years of experience working with analytical or software engineering teams
• At least 1 Year of People Management experience

Nice To Haves

• Masters / MBA degree
• At least 8 years of Project Management experience
• At least 3 years of People Management experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

• Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects and peers.
• Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment.
• Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
• Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
