About The Position

As a Manager, Project Management within the Project Delivery Services (PDS) Team for Supply Chain Solutions (SCS), you will be a strategic leader, driving the delivery and execution of high-priority, complex initiatives across SCS. You will join a dynamic team of smart, passionate people and will be instrumental in shaping solutions within a fast-changing environment. You will be challenged to excel and lead alongside the brightest talent in the industry, taking on exciting and significant responsibility from day one with key stakeholders across the US Card Organization. We are looking for an experienced, intellectually curious, and highly motivated project leader to join our team and drive a diverse portfolio of horizontal initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, possessing a proven ability to bring structure to complex problems. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously. In this role, you will champion project management efforts for critical Supply Chain Solutions initiatives. Success requires exceptional communication, influencing skills, and a deep drive for solving cross-functional challenges by building strong relationships and partnering across diverse teams (LOB Partners, SCS Operations, Suppliers, ESM (Enterprise Supplier Management), Finance, Product/Tech, and other job families). You will need experience leading projects that impact critical Supply Chain Solutions teams (e.g., Letters/Statements/Card Delivery/Direct Mail/Imaging) and their partner groups. Interested candidates must be self-driven team players, preferably possessing foundational knowledge of various US Card operating processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
  • At least 7 Years of Project Management experience
  • At least 2 Years of People Management experience
  • At least 3 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

  • Masters Degree
  • At least 8 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 3 years of People Management experience
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead moderate to extra-large complex projects and programs, providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and potential direct reports.
  • Design, develop, and manage comprehensive project plans in a complex, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment, constantly revising needs to meet evolving requirements.
  • Ensure rigorous project documentation and controls are in place to mitigate risk and guarantee timely delivery.
  • Leverage superior problem-solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver maximum strategic intent.
  • Partner cross-functionally and strategically with project customers, providing tactical and thought leadership to effectively drive project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels to ensure the timely delivery of commitments.
  • Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive large-scale project and program efforts across organizational boundaries.
