The Manager, Project Management will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of project managers. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle of complex projects and programs within the Global Supply Chain Operational Unit. The Manager will collaborate closely with Cook Divisions, Functional Teams, and Manufacturing Entities to ensure that projects are delivered successfully, aligning with business objectives, requirements, and timelines.

  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management to direct reports, fostering a positive, collaborative team environment that promotes high performance and professional growth.
  • Align with Global Supply Chain (GSC) strategic goals to develop and execute comprehensive project and program plans that drive transformational change.
  • Partner with departments and stakeholders to ensure all project and program components are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with requirements.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned projects and programs, ensuring adherence to established timelines and objectives.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and address risks or issues that could impact project or program timelines.
  • Monitor, track, and report project and program progress in a structured and timely manner to business owners and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Divisions, Functional Teams, and Manufacturing Entities, throughout project and program planning, execution, and implementation.
  • Engage and manage relationships with external vendors as needed to support project and program success.
  • Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System and compliance with relevant business processes.
  • Uphold Cook's Code of Conduct in all business activities conducted on behalf of the company.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Apply Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and methodologies to project management processes, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Supply Chain, Business, or Information Technology degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, with prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Continuous improvement or Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of system concepts & methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of management principles.
  • Experience with managing and directing project team members towards a defined objective.
  • Proven written and verbal skills with ability to synthesize information into well-organized plans, proposals and presentations.
  • Proven understanding and experience of internal systems.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS principles (preferably ISO13485 and ISO11607).
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and follow up on issues.
