Join the Walmart US Legal Team to partner with the Supply Chain & Transportation business segments on fast-paced, financial-focused operations, and strategy for the world's largest company. This Project Manager role will provide hands-on support for the legal team supporting varied formats of distribution centers, including Grocery, Regional, Fulfillment, Consolidation, Pharmacy, Imports, and Fashion operations. Additionally, the role will provide Supply Chain and Transportation legal support for Walmart's in-house, Print Solutions, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety & Asset Protection, Strategy & Innovation, and Transportation, operations. Finally, the role will assist in maintaining Supply Chain Governance and collaborate with cross functional teams to mitigate legal and compliance regulatory risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years' experience in project management, business, operations, or related area OR 4 years' experience in project management, business, operations, or related area
  • 1 year's experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Proven success supporting Supply Chain and Transportation and contracts
  • Substantial, diverse legal experience (ex. combination of in-house, government, law firm, etc.)
  • Ability to empower business partners while working collaboratively to achieve cross-functional goals
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to leverage preventative measures in the spirit of protecting stakeholders, customers, and employees

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Supply Chain Operations by providing direct business contract assistance (contract process flow management, contract drafting, negotiations, and repository management)
  • Maintaining Supply Chain and Transportation related governance
  • Leveraging technology to streamline processes, communication, and workflows; this includes using Coupa, DocuSign, and Walmart's in-house developed matter management system
  • Providing training on contract templates and other legal matters to Supply Chain and Transportation clients
