About The Position

The position involves overseeing and managing operational aspects of ongoing improvement projects at Pfizer, acting as a liaison between project teams and line management. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in pharmaceutical research and development facilities.
  • Experience with Capital Projects/Construction Project Management Professional certification (PMP) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in managing mid to large-scale (up to $100M), complex programs with multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or other project management software.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop and manage program budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field or professional certifications (PMP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with real estate and construction software, such as Procore or CoStar.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in project management.
  • Experience with GxP and GMP environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing improvement projects.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and line management.
  • Manage the review of project status, budget, schedules, and prepare status reports.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
  • Provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects.
  • Prepare forecasts for resource requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of architects, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct project meetings and facilitate stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budgets and track expenses, providing regular financial updates.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage design and construction teams and maintain client relationships.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions to inform improved project delivery.
  • Manage project execution in accordance with Pfizer's environmental, health, and safety standards.
