Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manager of Project Management 3 based out of the Melbourne, FL location. Due to the nature of the role, an on-site presence is required and cannot be performed remotely. The position will follow our 9/80 schedule and allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience in project management, or a Master’s degree and 6 years’ experience in project management.
  • 3 years of experience in a Program Management or Program Integration role.
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inputs for a high performing team and be responsible for executing, monitoring and reporting on the progress of program performance.
  • Lead projects within cost and schedule requirements of the program.
  • Develop practical execution plans in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Solve complex problems through systematic and objective evaluation of information.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and implement a strong operational program foundation with a diverse set of internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Drive strategies to meet or exceed cost, schedule and performance objectives.
  • Report at the Director level including status for Program Integration planning and execution tasks.
  • Collaborate with program and functional leaders to develop and nurture a highly competent and engaged team.
  • Oversee execution of key strategic projects and deliverables.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in program processes and procedures.
  • Measure and report program performance.
  • Deliver presentations to customers, executive leadership and other program stakeholders.
