About The Position

Amazon Ads is seeking an experienced Manager for our Programmatic Solutions Consultants team to join our growing business based in New York City. Amazon Ads helps brands create experiences that delight customers and deliver meaningful results. With 300+ million worldwide active customer accounts, and first-party insights based on shopping, streaming and browsing signals, brands can craft relevant campaigns that enhance customer experiences. Our solutions on Amazon.com, services like Twitch, IMDb TV, Alexa, Amazon Music, and partnerships with third-party publishers and exchanges make Amazon Ads the ultimate amplifier for brands to reach the right audiences in the right places, both on and off Amazon. Our programmatic advertising platform, the Amazon Demand Side Platform (DSP), is becoming increasingly popular with major advertisers and agencies worldwide. We believe we understand e-commerce advertising better than anybody else and want to turn it into a science of its own that all users can leverage for their programmatic advertising.

Requirements

  • 6+ years professional experience.
  • 3+ years experience managing direct reports.
  • 2+ years experience in programmatic advertising.
  • Experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles.
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
  • Experience with influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
  • Organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in English.

  • Technical and operational experience with programmatic advertising technologies.
  • Experience in e-commerce or online advertising.

  • Master's/MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Navigate a high level of ambiguity and identify key business problems to prioritize and present solutions.
  • Manage a team of Programmatic Solutions Consultants, including resource planning and driving success for the team’s customer category.
  • Work tactically and strategically to determine the right strategy and simplify or extend solutions.
  • Develop new opportunity areas, track program metrics, and use findings to influence business decisions.
  • Set goals and direction for the team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
  • Hire, develop, and lead a team of technical and non-technical Programmatic Solutions Consultants.
  • Monitor and manage a services organization to maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Generate and implement big ideas to drive business improvement, innovation, and scale.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, assess risks, mitigate issues, and provide escalation management.
  • Communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups and represent Amazon in meetings with senior executive teams.
