About The Position

L3Harris Corporation’s Advanced Combat Systems sector is seeking a Program Finance Manager in North Amityville, NY for the Release Systems business area. This role will be responsible for working collaboratively with senior leadership for OSPI consolidation, forecasting and analysis as well as leading a team of PFAs ensuring proper financial program execution and revenue recognition. The Release Systems, Antennas & Telemetry Division is seeking a finance leader for the Release Systems business area. This role will be responsible for working collaboratively with senior leadership for OSPI consolidation, forecasting and analysis as well as leading a team of PFAs ensuring proper financial program execution and revenue recognition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience.
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD / Government Contracts
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or Hyperion is a plus
  • Strong analytical and excel skills
  • Proficiency with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and reporting
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skill set, be capable of interfacing and forming strong business partnerships with division leadership and stakeholders
  • Proactive in developing solutions to complex problems and driving implementation
  • Possess strong communication skills (oral, written, listening)

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership and oversee financials for major product lines under Release Systems
  • Responsible for OSPI (Orders, Sales, Profit, Investment) analysis/variances as well as R&O’s (Risk & Opportunities)
  • Supervise direct reports ensuring financial commitments are met
  • Manage and forecast contracts – establish budgets, funding profiles, pricing/proposal support
  • Earned Value Management (EVMS) and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Oversee Estimate of Completions (EACs) and profit impacts
  • Develop and present various ad hoc analysis and reports required to support Program Management Team and Sr. Management
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
