The Naval Systems and Sustainment (NSS) Sub Strategic Business Unit within the Naval Power Business Unit of Raytheon is seeking a motivated Finance manager (M4) to support the newly awarded Taiwan Integrated Defense Systems Ships 2-3 program. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive finance and earned value management support, with frequent interaction and collaboration across various functions. This role will have one direct report, with the possibility to expand as the portfolio grows. You will work closely with the program managers and functional groups. Responsibilities includes leading and executing program controls, baseline management, Estimate at Complete (EACs), Proposals, Gates, and financial planning requirements including AOP, Long Range Plan and R&O administration. You will also ensure the team adheres to all internal and IOT policies. The ideal candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn while being challenged. This position is currently designated as Onsite. The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the following Raytheon locations: Tucson, AZ, McKinney TX, Andover, MA, Marlborough, DC, Aurora, CO, Dulles, VA, Forest, MS, Huntsville, AL, Tewksbury, MA, Indianapolis, IN, MD, or Warner Robbins, GA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 8 years of related work experience; OR an advanced degree with 5 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • Experience and with the program business role, SAP, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), PMX, and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted business partner with all internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial execution.
  • Partner with the Program Management Organization to develop Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE).
  • Analyze key financial data that will enable sound program decision making; this includes earned value cost and schedule metrics, estimates at complete (EACs), funding tracking and manpower planning.
  • Manage and maintain program baselines and ensure accuracy and timeliness of program cost charging aligned to business directives and policies.
  • Manage internally reported Earned Value cost and schedule metrics and drive variance understanding.
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and contract modifications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support proposal, negotiation, and gate activities.
  • Manage direct report including providing training, assignment, and career development opportunities.
  • Facilitate performance development process and timecard approval.
