Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Cost & Schedule Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with 7 years of Finance/Cost/Business Management experience OR a Masters Degree with 5 years of Finance/Cost/Business Management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of program execution for cost and compliance.
  • Strong background and experience in leading teams or an organization directly or indirectly.
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Compliance.
  • Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. MPM or Cobra), Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting principles.
  • Experience interfacing with customers or government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Cost and Schedule Management organization with deep integration with the Business Management organization.
  • Accountable for Program performance reporting, analysis, and compliance.
  • Partner with and support the Program leadership team, Business Segments, Integrated Product Teams, and control account managers.
  • Deliver Cost and Performance deliverables, financial forecasting, support to Financial Planning and Reporting, Process Improvements, and Proposal Support.
  • Accountable for EAC and Risk/Opportunity Assessment, Program Baselines, Auditory Compliance and Surveillances.
  • Support the Senior Cost & Schedule Manager and partner with Business leadership.
  • Manage a group of Program Cost and Schedule Analysts.
  • Develop employee skills and evaluate employee performance on assigned responsibilities.
  • Implement and analyze performance tracking.
  • Support and guide PMs and CAMs.
  • Analyze and prepare cost and schedule reports.
  • Develop, analyze, and review EACs.
  • Conduct variance analysis research and reporting.
  • Focus team on achieving uncompromising quality in all products and services, accountability, and team performance.
