Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an exciting opening for the Manager Program Control 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our sector. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of Finance/Business Management work experience OR Masters Degree with 5 years of Finance/Business Management work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and financial analysis.
  • Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. MPM or Cobra), SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting principles.
  • Experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership teams.
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in cost and schedule management.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from an accredited university.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in Aerospace and/or Defense programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) such as Deltek Cobra and MPM.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and train a team of cost analysts responsible for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, funding analysis, program financial analysis, internal and external audits, and contract deliverables.
  • Provide direct supervision activities, including completion of performance goals and reviews, assigning work scope to employees, reviewing and approving timecards.
  • Develop employee skills and evaluate employee performance on assigned responsibilities.
  • Support customer Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), Supplier Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits.
  • Ensure contract deliverables are completed and submitted on a timely manner.
  • Focus team on achieving uncompromising quality in all products and services.
  • Act as the primary interface with the program office, functional leadership, and external auditing agencies regarding EVMS related tasks.
  • Support proposal preparation, fact-finding and contract negotiations as needed.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with customer counterparts.
