As a Manager of Production Engineering, you will inspire, develop, coordinate, support and manage a team of Production Engineers to enable Rangeview’s vision of a modern manufacturing company. A successful candidate for this role will demonstrate determination, integrity, intellectual curiosity, empathy, technical capability, and a commitment to developing their team. This position’s internal job code is Manager, Production Engineering. We are currently hiring for Level 4.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (ABET accreditation required)
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industries
• 3+ years of experience directly managing a team of engineers
• Experience creating and delivering presentations to executive leadership
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
• Experience aggregating and analyzing technical data to make objective, informed decisions

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated ability to scale production throughput
• Strong understanding of WMS, MES, and ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as the individual accountable for your Production Engineering team
• Own the outcomes of process failures and improvement initiatives, always prioritizing personnel safety, product quality, and on time delivery
• Define the team’s roadmap and both justify and advocate for the resources needed to succeed
• Manage cross-functional relationships to execute improvement opportunities, ensure alignment of priorities, and relentlessly drive down lead time and labor hours
• Develop the data pipelines used to establish, monitor, and improve production metrics enveloping safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Drive production autonomy by challenging requirements, simplifying work processes, and implementing intelligent automation
• Partner with peer teams to define strategy for implementing changes in response to changing market dynamics, factory optimization initiatives, customer needs, etc.
