The Claris product management team is looking for a Manager of Product Managers who combines strong leadership with hands-on product execution skills, with a passion for delivering delightful experiences and driving ambitious projects towards completion. The person in this role will lead a small team of product managers and, through them, will contribute to driving the stability, growth, and improvement of Claris development platform. It is a great opportunity to work on critical strategy initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of recent experience managing teams of three or more Product Managers.
• Track record of building high-performing teams and providing coaching to product managers.
• 8+ years as a Product Manager with a focus on rapid application development platforms.
• Strong understanding of business metrics and ability to align product strategy to business outcomes.
• Skilled in prioritization and backlog management with 5+ years managing product backlogs in agile environments.
• Comfortable writing PRDs, defining user journeys, and running teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with competing priorities.
• Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, automation, and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• MBA or advanced degree; technical background is preferred.
• Experience applying generative AI and large language model (LLM) technologies to B2B or workflow-oriented use cases.
• Proven experience leading design, feature definition, and delivery of software products from concept to shipped releases.
• Strong experience with agile development practices, particularly Scrum.
• Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Shape high-level product goals and get hands-on with product execution.
• Pitch concepts to senior leadership and create launch plans with marketing.
• Work with designers and researchers to conduct user interviews or concept tests.
• Conceptualize new features and analyze usage data.
• Contribute to the overall company strategy.
• Understand client needs and influence business strategy.
• Prioritize product features and collaborate with engineering to develop products.
