About The Position

The Manager, Global Streaming Research & Insights leads consumer-driven product insights to guide the development of innovative streaming experiences for Paramount+ and Pluto TV. Reporting to the VP, this role ensures product evolution aligns with user expectations and behaviors, with a specific focus on the Connected TV (CTV) and mobile environments. You will be part of a team tasked with developing a deep knowledge of global audiences and disseminating those findings to support Paramount’s streaming goals. his role requires someone who has 3-5+ years of experience in UX or product research, with robust skills in both qualitative and quantitative methods across CTV and mobile platforms. They should prosper at synthesizing insights and communicating findings in a dynamic and dynamic environment. A candidate with an affinity for media and streaming is a must.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in UX research, consumer insights, product research, or a related field.
  • Education: Completed Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Technical Research Skills: Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods (surveys, IDIs, usability testing, concept testing).
  • Platform Knowledge: Demonstrated experience conducting product research for CTV or multi-platform digital products.
  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with research platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Recollective) and data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, Tableau, mTab, or similar).
  • Communication: Remarkable storytelling and presentation skills with the ability to perform well under tension and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Software: Robust skills in PC tools, specifically PowerPoint.

  • Industry Background: Experience specifically within digital media, streaming, or technology, preferably at a media owner or research agency.
  • Global Perspective: Experience working in an international environment is a plus.
  • Community Management: Experience running or engaging with consumer online insight communities or panels.
  • Mindset: An affinity for media and streaming, a positive attitude, and an initiative-taking approach with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end exploratory and evaluative research initiatives that shape product strategy and innovation.
  • Implement research methods across CTV and mobile platforms, including surveys, in-depth interviews (IDIs), communities, usability testing, and prototype evaluations.
  • Partner with research vendors to scope, design, and field studies, managing the full process from planning through storytelling.
  • Uncover user needs and friction points through UX assessments and prototype explorations to evaluate new feature concepts.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations that directly inform product and design decisions.
  • Support Paramount+ and Pluto TV online communities by developing quick-turn studies and interactive activities for rapid insights.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, data analytics, and marketing teams.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in UX research, streaming behaviors, and AI-driven research tools to integrate best practices.
