The Manager, Procurement typically accomplishes results through experienced exempt employees. This position functions as advisor on all projects and tasks assigned to the organizational group. Essential Functions: Provides directions to subordinate direct reports based on general policies and management guidance Interprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational groups Recommends modifications to operating policies Provides assistance to direct reports in meeting established schedules or to resolve complex administrative or operational problems Supervises supply chain and materiel management functional activities ensuring compliance with the Company’s policy, customer requirements and regulations and public laws in expenditure of the Company and government funds · Selects types of contractual arrangements Ensures that accurate and timely data is prepared, reviewed and submitted according to internal and external requirements Responsible for product cost, schedule, and quality Reviews and approves expenditures up to a delegated limit in accordance with policy and public law
