Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of experience in procurement, with a specific focus on managing the Purchase-to-Pay process and supplier relationships

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in using Coupa or other procurement platforms to support procurement activities
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
  • Proficiency in using Excel or other data analysis tools

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire Purchase-to-Pay process, from requisition to payment, ensuring adherence to company policies, compliance, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather procurement requirements and facilitate the procurement process to meet business needs promptly
  • Monitor procurement metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
  • Serve as the in-house expert on Coupa, our procurement platform, and lead its effective utilization across the organization
  • Conduct Coupa training sessions for team members, ensuring they are proficient in using the platform and following the established procurement workflows
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enable them through one of Coupa billing channels to streamline payment processes and reduce manual intervention
  • Manage supplier contracts, negotiations, and renewals to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration to improve overall supplier performance and reliability
  • Effectively collaborate with suppliers to resolve any procurement-related issues and ensure smooth communication and resolution for the benefit of the business
  • Provide procurement support to various business units and departments, guiding them through the procurement process, sourcing strategies, and supplier selection
