About the position

The Manager, Process at CVS Health is responsible for leading technology-focused strategic initiatives within the Clinical and Government Services Operations (CGSO) team. This role aims to enhance operational efficiencies in the Prior Authorization/clinical program operations, ensuring a better experience for customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a product mindset to execute key initiatives effectively, collaborating with various departments to achieve intended value.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives within CGSO that support and optimize prior authorization operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans.
• Utilize a systems thinking approach to identify and analyze processes, workflows, and technology needs to improve operational efficiency.
• Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on stakeholder feedback and business objectives.
• Create and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancements and maximum value.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on project status and outcomes.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to prior authorization and healthcare operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably in healthcare operations.
• 1+ years of knowledge of pharmacy prior authorization process and workflows.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience in collaborating with data science teams to integrate AI solutions into existing operational workflows.
• Ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance prior authorization processes.
• Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of pharmacy prior authorization.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in creating and managing project plans.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply systems thinking in complex problems.
• Familiarity with CVS Caremark's PA Products - CAS, Medhok, and Novologix.
