About The Position

Join Royal Caribbean Group as a full-time Manager of Pre-Construction Projects, reporting to the Director of Pre-Construction. This position is based in Miami and requires a seasoned Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will oversee various aspects of assigned land-based projects, ensuring successful execution and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, structural engineering, MEP, architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record in Pre-Construction.
  • Experience with Commercial Projects in Hospitality, F&B, and Retail sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, or similar software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Infrastructure, Utility, and Support Facility projects.
  • PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resources required.
  • Strategize project execution methods to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including new developments and capital improvement initiatives.
  • Create and enhance relations with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Attend and lead scheduled weekly progress meetings, tracking progress and risks.
  • Oversee estimating all project-related costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and indirect costs.
  • Develop and manage the project budget, tracking and controlling all expenditures.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to ensure project designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Prepare tender documents and manage the bidding process, ensuring transparency and fairness.
  • Identify potential risks associated with project execution and audit risk evaluations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and all external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the permitting process, ensuring all necessary permits are obtained.
  • Implement quality control practices to ensure all pre-construction tasks meet company standards.
  • Manage documentation, submittal reviews, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
