About The Position
The Manager Practice III position at Christus Health is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the operations of physician practices that typically consist of more than four providers, more than ten full-time equivalents (FTEs), or multiple sites. This managerial role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including managing subordinate personnel, preparing clinic budgets, ensuring data accuracy, and handling complex customer service issues. The manager is also tasked with maintaining effective communication between providers and staff, ensuring quality patient care, and implementing operational policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals. In this role, the manager will establish and implement goals, objectives, and systems for the assigned administrative areas. They will assist in developing and executing the annual operational plan and budget, select and train clinic personnel, and manage daily operations across multiple practices. The manager will evaluate staff performance, recommend promotions or disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Additionally, they will work closely with the Regional Director and corporate Marketing Department to support practice development and identify cost reduction opportunities. The position requires a proactive approach to fiscal management, including monitoring clinic expenditures, implementing cost-effective policies, and developing revenue enhancement strategies. The manager will also be responsible for ensuring that all staff members are adequately trained and that their competencies are assessed regularly. They will gather and report monthly and annual data for fiscal and planning purposes, and participate in professional development activities to stay current with healthcare trends and practices. Overall, the Manager Practice III plays a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that the clinic operates efficiently and effectively, in line with the CHRISTUS Mission and values.
