Commercial Department The Commercial Team directs the full lifecycle of Vantage’s assets—from initial evaluation through long‑term performance—serving as the central owner of strategy, pricing, and commercial decision‑making. The team leads cross‑functional analysis to guide investment choices, develops data‑driven pricing and deal structures, and manages all major customer proposals and negotiations to ensure disciplined, value‑accretive outcomes. Commercial also maintains comprehensive visibility into asset readiness, financial performance, market dynamics, and portfolio trends, providing leadership with clear insights that shape capital allocation and long-term growth strategy. By integrating analytics, governance, and execution, the Commercial Team drives consistent, high‑quality commercial results and positions the organization for scalable, transparent growth. Position Overview This role is hybrid in Denver, CO. The Manager, Portfolio Management is responsible for asset- and portfolio-level performance management for Vantage’s leased asset base in North America, with a focus on building and operating a rigorous, repeatable reporting and insights cadence that provides site-level transparency (returns progression, delivery and capital visibility, and key risks) and portfolio-level views (including competitive benchmarking). This role partners closely across Commercial, Finance, Development, Construction, Energy, Operations, and Sales to ensure leadership receives accurate, decision-ready insights on portfolio performance and value drivers

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Experience 5-8 years of experience in portfolio/asset management, investments, corporate finance, real estate/infrastructure, or similarly analytical roles, with increasing responsibility.
  • Proven track record building executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and recurring insights cadences across complex assets.
  • Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities; ability to evaluate return impacts, sensitivities, and scenario outcomes.
  • Executive communication: synthesize complex information into clear narratives and recommendations.
  • Cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required; BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), SQL, or data engineering concepts a plus.
  • High attention to detail, strong judgment, and a bias toward scalable processes and a trusted reporting foundation.
  • Travel up to ~10% (or as business needs require).

Responsibilities

  • Asset-Level Performance Reporting (Leased Assets) Own and continuously improve recurring asset-level reporting for leased assets, including returns/performance progression (e.g., return bridges) and key value drivers.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly reporting cadences that provide visibility into: Monthly returns/performance updates (baseline reporting) Delivery schedule tracking Budget vs. actual performance and key variance drivers Major business case changes since underwriting and implications to value Forward-looking risks and mitigants with clear recommendations
  • Translate complex asset performance data into clear executive narratives that inform capital allocation and commercial strategy.
  • Portfolio-Level Reporting & Competitive / Market Insights Establish and publish a portfolio-level reporting package that aggregates performance signals into executive-ready insights.
  • Consolidate and maintain public portfolio statistics (e.g., leasing, churn, concentration) and produce recurring dashboards and summaries.
  • Build and maintain a peer/market comparable report to support strategic decision-making and positioning.
  • Post-Signature Commercial Management (Ongoing Economics & Change Control) Provide analysis and recommendations related to lease amendments, reservation agreements, and other post-signature commercial changes, including impacts from schedule shifts, service-level/penalties, delivery dates, and other execution-driven updates.
  • Partner cross-functionally to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and quantify financial impacts to asset returns and portfolio outcomes.
  • Data Governance, Reporting Standards & Tooling Build a durable reporting foundation (templates, definitions, data quality controls, and governance) enabling consistency across sites and over time.
  • Oversee development of dashboards, datasets, and processes that improve accuracy, repeatability, and stakeholder trust in portfolio reporting (including alignment with Finance/FP&A).
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development Lead workstreams end-to-end and influence cross-functional partners to ensure reporting reflects current realities and informs action.
  • Coach analysts and contribute to building a high-performing portfolio management capability (may include supporting a regionally aligned structure).
  • Proactively identify emerging risks/opportunities and recommend practical actions to protect or improve portfolio value
