We are currently seeking a Manager of Port Services that will lead the implementation of the new MXP system to streamline port operations, drive process efficiency, and achieve cost savings. This role oversees the port agency bid process, budget management, forecasting, and invoice processing for port activities. The Manager will ensure optimal operational performance while supporting accurate financial tracking and the continuous improvement of port operations workflows.

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the new MXP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing port operations and driving adoption across all relevant teams.
  • Oversee and enhance all financial processes related to port operations, including budget management, forecasting, and invoice processing, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Review current financial data regularly to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization. Where appropriate, negotiate improved terms with vendors and port agents to support cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous process improvements by evaluating existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing best practices to streamline operations and support business objectives.
  • Ensure accurate coding, processing, and tracking of all port and crew invoices, and maintain up-to-date records for advanced payments and monthly schedules.
  • Support monthly budget forecasting and provide analytical support for cost trending and port-specific activities, ensuring financial objectives are met and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to balance immediate tasks and long-term projects.
  • Proficiency in MXP and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 3 years' experience in the cruise industry or a related field.
  • Background in financials/accounting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Experience with port reservation and invoicing IT systems preferred.
