About The Position

Reporting to the Plant Manager at our Rensselaer, Indiana manufacturing facility, you will support plant operations by expanding the capabilities of the Conagra Performance System and manage improvement in plant performance by identifying opportunities for improvement. You will lead the execution of processes to eliminate losses while developing strategies to improve organizational growth by reducing non‑value-added activities and ensuring continuous improvement. Working with plant leadership, you will support a plant of 230 hourly and salaried team members in process improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • More than five years of manufacturing operations experience
  • More than five years of experience with continuous improvement systems such as total productive maintenance, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma
  • More than five years of management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment
  • Demonstrated influential leadership and effective communication skills
  • Skilled at developing short‑term and long‑term plans for strategic and tactical execution

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and subject matter expertise to site leaders of all Conagra Performance System pillars
  • Own multiple Conagra Performance System pillars, including Focused Improvement, Continuous Skills Development, and Autonomous Manufacturing Development
  • Collaborate with functions across the site to drive continuous improvement activities and results
  • Coach teams to analyze data, prioritize projects, use problem‑solving tools, and implement systemic solutions
  • Lead the execution of projects designed to deliver Key Performance Indicators
  • Promote Conagra Performance System concepts daily through coaching and auditing
  • Foster technological transformation through the use and improvement of digital tools
  • Engage with Continuous Improvement leaders at both enterprise and plant levels to improve standards, share best practices, and reapply key learnings
