Learn more at https://www.jnj.com Johnson & Johnson's Surgical Robotics Supply Chain organization is recruiting a Manager, Planning Strategy & Systems. The role is a full-time position located in Santa Clara, CA with an expectation of being in the office 3+ days per week. The Manager, Planning Strategy & Systems will own and improve end-to-end processes across supply chain, with a focus on planning. This includes championing best practices and leveraging strong functional experience in SAP modules to translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions. The Manager, Planning Strategy & Systems ensures that SAP and other system deliverables accurately reflect the needs of stakeholders while adhering to industry’s best practices and regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include supporting data migration strategies and overseeing master data governance for critical objects like material masters. The Manager, Planning Strategy & Systems works in close collaboration with IT, Planning, Operations, Engineering, Source, Finance, Quality and Service to ensure aligned business decisions. This individual will report to the Surgical Robotics Strategy and Plan Leader.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or University degree is required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
  • An independent thinker with the ability to lead teams and projects, and proven track record of challenging the “status-quo”, visualizing potential opportunities and implementing actions to build value.
  • SME in Production Planning processes
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA or ECC modules, specifically focusing on the SCM domain
  • PLM Experience (Agile preferred)
  • Materials Requirement Planning and/or Advanced Planning & Schedule experience.
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies
  • Cross-functional change management experience, especially with IT, Production, and Supply Chain at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to work effectively and implement solutions in a cross-functional, team environment.
  • Proven track record of challenging the “status-quo”, visualizing potential opportunities and implementing actions to build value.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Adaptable to meet rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Proven analytical/quantitative skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • IBF / APICS / CSCP certifications
  • Experience in healthcare / regulatory dependent sector
  • Experience in Service planning (Service parts planning, FRUs, Repair)
  • System to System Interface experience
  • Capital equipment planning experience
  • PMP, FPX, or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Planning and Systems Business Process Owner for Planning
  • Identify supply chain inefficiencies and design SAP-based solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements for enhancements, integrations, and reports
  • Strategic liaison between operational business units and technical IT teams
  • New plant in ERP responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting for SCM SAP modules
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for end-users to enhance system proficiency
  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement/lean projects across supply chain
  • Overall Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Creates and maintains in-depth analytical tools to support issue resolution, decision making, and execution oversight
  • Provide leadership to a team of supply chain planning analysts by training and mentoring.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including Planning, Operations, Service & Repair, Finance, Source, Engineering and Deliver teams.
