About The Position

Manager, Pharmacy Clinical Operations - Advanced Home Delivery Hybrid: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The CarelonRx Home Delivery Pharmacy will deliver a digital first pharmacy experience that is convenient, simpler to use, and more affordable for our patients and payors. Our Pharmacy model focuses on whole person care, providing the best member experience to drive adherence, affordability, and improved overall health outcomes by putting the patient first. The Manager, Pharmacy Clinical Operations - Advanced Home Delivery will be managing mail order operations including oversight of queue management, process development, dispensing accuracy and cross functional team collaboration. Responsible for developing and implementing clinical pharmacy programs to promote quality and cost-effective drug utilization.

Requirements

  • Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy or a PharmD and minimum of 5 years of experience in managed care, authorization, or related pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in applicable state(s) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in high-volume mail-order pharmacy environment with strong understanding of end-to-end fulfillment workflows, queue performance, and SLA-driven production.
  • Ability to use operational analytics to optimize performance, reduce cost-to-fill and collaborate effectively across pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development of new clinical products.
  • Manages clinical pharmacy operations and staff to ensure clients' objectives and deliverables are met.
  • Oversees departmental processes, policies and procedures, training, and communication.
  • Ensures achievement of department goals and objectives.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
