About The Position

The Atlanta office is looking for a Manager, Personal CFO Services to join our growing family office team which provides daily accounting, financial administration and other family offices services for a diverse group of high-net-worth clients. This role is client-facing and serves as a trusted partner in managing and streamlining the financial lives of our clients. You will work with a dynamic, high-performing team and collaborate closely with internal partners to deliver white-glove service, proactively oversee financial operations, including client bills and vendor management and delivery of financial reports.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a client-facing role within family office, private wealth, accounting, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting that is sufficient to review work, identify issues, and explain results to clients.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating bill pay, cash management, and transaction workflows.
  • Strong Excel skills required, including comfort with complex spreadsheets, cash flow analysis, reconciliations, and data review.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to prioritize quickly in a fast-paced, high-touch client environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 7+ years or related experience.
  • Public accounting, family office, high net worth tax preparation, financial services or private wealth industry are preferred.
  • Industry knowledge helpful in Treasury/Cash Management, Partnership Accounting, Fund and Investment Accounting.
  • Experience in a client-facing financial services role, preferably serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong analytical skills with overall financial aptitude.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and compile data into clear reports.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to interact with clients and advisors in a professional and discrete manner.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CFP, or other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day delivery and client experience for a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth relationships, under the guidance of senior Personal CFO leadership.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and advisors, driving clarity, responsiveness, and follow-through, and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Run assigned client relationships with ownership and accountability, partnering closely with senior team members on priorities, judgment calls, and complex matters.
  • Translate financial activity into clear, client-ready explanations, summaries, and next steps.
  • Exercise sound judgment across entity structures, cash positioning, and client financial activity, seeking input when needed.
  • Coordinate closely with the centralized reporting team on the preparation of personal financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and projected cash flow for individuals, trusts, foundations, and closely held entities.
  • Review personal financial statements and supporting schedules for accuracy, completeness, and client readiness prior to delivery.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reporting and proactively flag questions, inconsistencies, or risks to senior leadership.
  • Lead and support client initiatives such as entity activity, asset purchases and sales, financing transactions, insurance reviews, and residence-related financial oversight.
  • Prepare materials and schedules for client and advisor meetings and actively manage follow-ups.
  • Work closely with associates and senior associates, providing guidance, review, and day-to-day direction.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills, effectively managing high volumes of inbound requests through shared inboxes and email aliases while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Serve as the primary recipient of client invoices and payment requests.
  • Review and approve bills for accuracy, legitimacy, entity allocation, timing, and available funding, coordinating execution with the centralized bill pay team and retaining approval responsibility within defined guidelines.
