About The Position

Responsible for supporting Perioperative Services with financial operations and decision making. Provides day to day supervision of assigned staff. Maintains a positive and professional work environment. Investigates, documents, and resolves problems and complaints. Performs technical/clinical responsibilities in assigned work area. Assumes responsibilities for professional development of self and contributes to and assists with the professional development of others. Develops and maintains information systems, including databases, electronic files and websites. Data Reporting and Analysis. Responsible for the Perioperative OR schedule: maintains block schedules, ensures compliance with related policies and assists with resource availability. Supports business operations and functions, including budgets and financial performance. Acts as Periop lead contact for Epic Optime, including education, project improvement, troubleshooting and consulting. Responsible for operational and process improvement across multiple perioperative areas. Provides key support for the OR Committee, Periop Chairs Leadership Committee, and Periop Outpatient OR Subcommittee. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree must be obtained within 4 years of hire or transfer.
  • 3 or more years in a hospital administrative setting required.
  • 3 or more years in a leadership role required.
  • No specific license or certification required.
