The Peer Services Manager leads the strategic direction, development, and expansion of peer support services across Central Health’s clinical and community-based care settings. This role ensures the effective integration of peer support into interdisciplinary workflows by shaping service models, guiding documentation standards, and setting expectations for ethical and professional use of lived experience. The Peer Services Manager oversees program performance by monitoring metrics, evaluating outcomes, and driving continuous quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, this role supports peer workforce development through training, competency development, and career pathway planning. All peer services are delivered in alignment with nationally recognized standards established by SAMHSA and in accordance with statewide standards and certification requirements overseen by the Texas Certification Board. In addition to management of peer support team members, the Peer Services Manager provides care to individuals engaged in serices with Central Health who have complex and often co-occurring mental health, substance use, and physical health needs. This position requires flexibility and travel between Central Health clinics and community based facilities, including skilled nursing facilities and other satellite locations. The person in this position must demonstrates a strong commitment to anti-oppressive, trauma-informed care that promotes healing, empowerment, and hope for patients and their support systems. This position reports to the Director of Behavioral Health.
