Requirements

  • 2+ years proven leadership skills and experience managing and developing a diverse team in IT or Benefits/HR/Payroll.
  • Demonstrated team-building skills with ability to influence and motivate team members.
  • Adept at assessing issues with ability to devise workable solutions quickly.
  • Must be responsive and able to work under pressure in crisis with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be flexible and able to provide effective management in a transitional ever-changing environment.
  • Detail oriented and thorough, with the ability to think 'big picture'.
  • HIPAA Training and Supervisors Orientation (within 30 days of hire); Leadership Development 101 (within one year); Costco Pay Policies (within 90 days of promotion).

Nice To Haves

  • Good understanding of Core HR and Payroll systems, preferably SAP.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and lead a team of employees.
  • Oversee team performance and deliverables.
  • Develop and execute the team's strategic vision and plan.
  • Ensure alignment of the team's actions with the larger goals of the company and the IT Division.
  • Support Human Resources (HR) and Payroll Applications for US and Canada.
  • Collaborate and communicate with Global People Systems teams, HR and Payroll Business teams, and SAP Platform teams.
  • Manage multiple priorities and support the team.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, trust, and open communication.
