About The Position
The position involves managing and coordinating all daily functions in the assigned Patient Access area, ensuring quality service to patients, physician's offices, and ancillary departments. The role includes providing educational material and training staff on updated procedures and additional services offered by the facility. Effective communication with staff is maintained through department meetings, e-mails, and one-on-one counseling. Responsibilities also include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, reviewing and evaluating employee performance, researching and resolving conflicts, and elevating opportunities for improvement to meet objectives. The position ensures that all Patient Access processes align with timely patient flow.
