About The Position

The Manager, Partnership Marketing at Angel City FC is responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring successful partnership activations, and providing exceptional service. This role involves planning, executing, and reporting on partnership activities while collaborating with various internal departments to meet partner needs and drive revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of high-level account management and/or partnership activation experience; sports sponsorship preferred.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and manage expectations with courtesy and tact.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert time management skills and a self-starter mentality.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with sponsorship measurement tools and processes.
  • Team player mentality contributing to the overall success of Angel City FC.

  • NWSL and professional soccer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Angel City FC as the main contact for assigned corporate partners.
  • Manage sponsorship activations by coordinating with other departments to ensure high execution standards and fulfillment of corporate partner deliverables.
  • Plan and execute events, promotions, experiences, and community activities on behalf of partners and Angel City FC.
  • Develop and implement new marketing and activation strategies based on partners' needs and potential revenue opportunities.
  • Compile and share research, data, and market trends with partners to support their goals.
  • Evaluate current partner goals and recommend additional assets for consideration.
  • Manage assigned department projects, including signage tracking and media inventory management.
  • Build and support relationships with agencies and account executives.
  • Create and present execution recaps and selling presentations.
  • Attend home games and special events to manage partner activations.
  • Stay updated with market trends and provide recommendations to ensure continued success.
