About The Position

Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy. We are seeking a Manager of Performance Marketing to lead and scale our paid search and Google Ads programs. This role will own end to end channel management - overseeing and driving strategy, budgets, bids, and ad creative with a strong focus on ROI, growth, and experimentation. You will partner closely with analytics, marketing operations, web/dev, and creative teams to drive measurable business impact. The ideal candidate is data-driven, used to being “hands-on-keyboard”, and passionate about optimizing demand programs across Google’s different advertising channels. They are curious about how our customers are looking for and influenced by information, and can work with cross-functional teams to deliver results. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in performance marketing, with deep expertise in paid search and Google Ads
  • Track record of managing & scaling high-budget media programs with measurable ROI
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads platform, bidding strategies, attribution models, and audience segmentation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, incrementality testing, and attribution modeling
  • Experience in high-growth, SaaS environments
  • Strong understanding of landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization best practices

Responsibilities

  • Own Microsoft & Google Ads strategy, including Search, Performance Max, Display, & YouTube
  • Drive scalable growth through continuous testing and optimization while maintaining efficiency targets (CAC, ROAS, LTV)
  • Manage and optimize monthly budgets, identifying opportunities to reallocate spend
  • Lead keyword strategy, bidding optimizations, targeting, and creative & landing page testing
  • Analyze performance trends, identify insights, and clearly communicate results
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that track performance against KPIs
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and advancements within Google ads
