About The Position

The Manager, Out-Of-Home Media Operations is responsible for the accurate and dependable execution of static and digital out-of-home media campaigns across the Macerich portfolio of 35+ Class A shopping centers. This role requires strong operational discipline, precise attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach to support Sales, property teams, and external partners. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to improving systems, workflows, and data accuracy. This individual ensures campaigns launch correctly, issues are resolved quickly, and stakeholders receive clear and timely communication. The role also contributes to long-term improvements to platforms, processes, and operational standards. Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in media trafficking, ad operations, or media execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with campaign data and schedules, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at once.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and interest in improving systems, processes, and data quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in out-of-home, digital out-of-home, or retail media environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with mall, retail, or place-based advertising environments is preferred.
  • Experience working with agencies, national brand clients, installers, or production vendors is a plus.
  • Experience with media inventory or CMS platforms such as Ayuda or Broadsign is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution Manage end-to-end trafficking for static and digital campaigns including creative intake, quality control, approvals, scheduling, production coordination, installation, and removal.
  • Coordinate creative specifications, formatting requirements, approvals, and deadlines with internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor live campaigns for correct placement, timing, delivery, and adherence to brand and property standards.
  • Maintain consistent naming conventions and documentation across all contracts, creative assets, and campaign records.
  • Platform and System Management Maintain accurate inventory, maps, descriptions, photos, rate cards, and spec sheets within our Content Management System (CMS), Ayuda.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy across industry platforms including Geopath, DoMedia, MediaX, Adstruc, and others.
  • Optimize Monday.com boards, dashboards, templates, alerts, and automation to improve workflow visibility and efficiency.
  • Participate in long-term platform enhancements including system evaluations, integrations, and operational roadmap development.
  • Vendor and Property Coordination Serve as a central operational liaison across Sales, Creative, Planning, Operations, and Property teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for installers, production vendors, Fusion, SignBird, and other platform partners.
  • Ensure trafficking instructions are complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
  • Provide property teams with clear visibility into installation timelines, campaign execution, and troubleshooting needs.
  • Identify and evaluate cost-efficient vendor options while maintaining quality expectations.
  • Reporting and Quality Assurance Support post-campaign reporting with photos, screenshots, pacing checks, delivery confirmations, and proof-of-performance documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory data, maps, spec sheets, digital content, and documentation to maintain system integrity.
  • Sales and Marketing Support Provide Sales with timely updates on new inventory, installations, workflow enhancements, and system changes.
  • Maintain organized shared folders and asset libraries for cross-team access.
  • Update sales collateral including capabilities materials, brochures, case studies, and the Business Development photo library.
  • Team Communication and Collaboration Communicate proactively and clearly with Sales, vendors, and property teams to ensure accurate execution and effective issue resolution.
  • Participate in internal meetings, provide operational updates, identify risks, and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with trafficking teammates to provide coverage during absences.
