About The Position

TRIA is looking to hire a Manager to join our Orthopedic Urgent Care team! Position Summary: In partnership with department clinical leadership, provide overall strategic, financial, and operational direction and daily management of the department. Assure operational goals and objectives are obtained through planning, implementing, and directing of programs, procedures, systems, and staff. Plan, research, develop and implement new or modified process, practices, technology, and approaches - requires independent action and a high degree of initiative. Identifies specialized, unique, or complex problem areas and develops recommendations. Park Nicollet Specialty Managers may manage a variety of outpatient or hospital outpatient department areas. Positions range in scope and complexity from 1 – 4, four being high. The Orthopedic Urgent Care sees patients with acute injuries, sports injuries, basically anything a patient deems as urgent. We are unique in this offering as patients will be seen by a primary care sports medicine provider. It is a one stop shop, seeing a physician, obtaining x-rays, MRI’s, seeing physical or hand therapy, ultrasound guided injections if needed – patients leave with a complete plan of care

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two related supervisory experience
  • MN RN licensure, MN Athletic Trainer licensure, or MN LPN licensure
  • Proven leadership skills in organizing, planning, and directing an operation and its staff.
  • Intermediate level computer skills required, including but not limited to email, spreadsheets, word processing and calendars.
  • Operates personal computer utilizing spreadsheet and word processing applications, telephone, fax machine, photocopier, and projector.

Nice To Haves

  • Two related supervisory experience, within a healthcare environment preferred
  • National Certification in Nursing Administration
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, human relations, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and problem-solving skills.
