About The Position

As the Manager, Organizational Effectiveness (OE), you will play a vital role in enhancing Best Buy's effectiveness through change management, employee engagement, data analysis and research, and design effective structures. You will work closely with leadership, HR Business Partners, and various departments to lead change management efforts, assess organizational needs, drive employee engagement, and implement strategies that enable the future of work and ensure the overall health and success of Best Buy. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this ing and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 5 years of HR, strategy, change management, industrial organizational psychology, or management consulting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Baseline understanding of organizational effectiveness and change methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in human resources related field.
  • 3 years of proven experience in managing and leading strategic initiatives within a complex organization.
  • 1 year of organizational design experience or workforce planning experience.
  • Strong business agility with the ability to pivot and adapt quickly to changes and continuously improve processes based on learnings and feedback.
  • Orgvue, Workday, or similar HR systems acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement plans and tactics for projects within the organizational effectiveness portfolio using frameworks, external research, data, and benchmarking.
  • Develop an approach to measure, collect, analyze, and interpret organizational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate education and coaching to influence greater effectiveness and efficiency by drawing on experience along with proven tools, external data, and change principles.
  • Lead enterprise-level change management initiatives to drive organizational transformation and align with business strategy.
  • Partner and work closely with HR Business Partners, directors, and officers to drive business results.
  • Cultivate a culture of belonging and engagement through support of team culture and strategy.
